PREAMBLE

• WHEREAS, the North West Provincial Government is committed to the effective and efficient running of the Province;

• AND WHEREAS, the North West Provincial Government is committed to the improvement of the quality of life of its inhabitants/ citizens;

• AND WHEREAS, the North West Provincial Government is desirous of optimizing its resources and wealth for the benefit of its citizens;

• FURTHER, that in order to achieve its objectives there is a need for dialogue between the different stakeholders in the province.

• WE THEREFORE, through this Constitution establish a forum which will act as a vehicle for social dialogue, so as to assist government and its citizens to effectively communicate and co-operate towards the betterment of the lives of its citizens.
